Through 30+ years as a manager and an executive in large financial services institutions, I have led automation, rapid growth, digitization, technical and cultural transformations through downsizing, mergers, divestitures and regulatory drills. I determined that there was one common obsession demonstrated by the most effective leaders I worked with. This same obsession formed the basis for the culture in the most successful organizations that I have seen. It is an obsession with Clarity.
It has brought me to this understanding:
